2009 Season - Week 7

John thanks all for their understanding and allowing him an extra week. He has made one change dropping Packer Tight End Donald Lee but staying with an all NFC line-up with three Tight End receiver set by signing Vernon Davis of San Francisco. Davis showed his thanks for allowing him to be a BUM by scoring 3 TD’s. Hall of Fame Players First of all an apology to Wayne and Anquan Boldin. In the nomination information I erroneously said “He has yet to finish in the top three of the Premiership”. Thanks to Wayne for pointing out Anquan was a BUMS Champion on the California Dreams last year. His Cardinal team mate Larry Fitzgerald missed the Hall of Fame by 1 point. 13 of the 16 owners voted and the 4 players chosen to enter the Hall of Fame are Donovan McNabb (33 points – 1 first place vote), Drew Brees (41pts – 2 first places), Tony Gonzalez (42pts – 1 first place) and run away winner Kurt Warner with 77 points and 4 first place votes. We now have elected 35 players into the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame floorplan is attached. To all who voted, a big thank you but your jobs not over, it’s time to vote again. Owners Hall of Fame Last year Mark was voted into the Owners wing joining inaugural member Cheryl and last years choice, Chief. Now someone else will join them. The rules are simple - each year one owner (past or present) will be honoured by the current owners. All you have to do is email me by November 21st the owners name you wish to place in the Hall of Fame, Owners Wing. Please note there is no room for narcissism in the BUMS - YOU MAY NOT VOTE FOR YOURSELF. Nominations are listed alphabetically on the attached sheet with the 13 current owners not in joined by the 5 former owners Andrew Gulliford, Mark Harris, Paul Privitera Phil Long & Steve Talbot. Let the campaigning begin, why do YOU deserve to be in? Trading Day 2 & Thanksgiving. If you have realised you’ve made the wrong changes make a note in the diary Trading Day 2 is on November 22nd before the week 11 games. The Thanksgiving games are the following Thursday November 26th. Cheryl will be doing the traditional feast. BUMS on Seats Back at HQ this Sunday from 6pm for Dolphins v Jets and Vikings v Packers and then at H’s next Monday to see the Falcons @ The Saints. Call if you’re coming.
